As a Performance and Insight Leader / Analyst your role would be to support the business with their understanding of their performance, across marketing, sales, and customer performance. You will be involved in supporting daily operations with the delivery of key business statistics and sales performance while taking ownership and responsibility of understanding the business capabilities.
This role will work with the board and department directors to interpret performance across the organisation, ensuring we are working competitively and efficiently. You will use raw data sources, understand business processes systems and the overall organisation. A part of the role will also be using data to support marketing materials and competitor analysis ensuring we stay ahead of the market. Understanding customer demographics and behaviours will add to the overall contribution of our business objectives.
This role will not only be responsible for hands-on data manipulation, competitor analysis, modelling and profiling tasks but also for clear and effective communication of insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities;
- Responsible for the application and development of automated reporting.
- Provide actionable customer insight to business teams that answers key business questions, enables the business to understand our customers further, and inform strategic decisions that are grounded in insight.
- Scan for future trends that may impact the business.
- Capture and interpret customer data from a range of sources and communicate these findings across departments.
- Manage all insight projects, working to better improve the performance and processes within the business.
- Manage, lead and develop a small team.
- Manage a research and development budget.
- Manage data quality, plan extract and clean data ready for relevant CRM and Marketing activity.
- Deliver periodic business performance packs and present this to key stakeholders.
- Assist others in using the database to support their business operations.
- Provide advice and make decisions on analytical tools and software’s.
- Develop a key data strategy plan, share, and present the framework to relevant stakeholders.
- Be a super user of our reporting and booking systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities;
- Expert user of Microsoft products, specifically Excel.
- Providing actionable insight from raw data.
- Stakeholder management ability to present your findings in a way that is accessible to all audiences.
- A great attention to detail.
- Experience of recruiting, developing and performance managing staff
- Active affiliation with appropriate networks and organisations and ongoing community involvement
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate with clients and third parties
- Problem solving and analytical skills
