Introduction:
SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Temporary Full-Time Personal Assistant (PA) Assistant to join our client in Ripley. Due to compliance and background checks, this role will approximately start 5-6 weeks after an offer is made, therefore perfect for anyone who will be finishing a temporary or contract assignment soon and will be looking to smoothly transition into their next role. This will be a temporary ongoing role paying up to £14.50 an hour with the flexibility of choosing your own work pattern and hours. You will need to be familiar working in a corporate environment and must have experience supporting senior members of a business.
Typical duties will include:
- To provide proactive, efficient, professional, and confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Information management
- To undertake specific administrative duties
- To provide confidential word processing and audio typing service
- Provide administrative support including the maintenance of computerised records, making arrangements for meetings and conferences
- Diary management including planning and organising meetings and associated travel and accommodation requirements
- To deal with incoming calls, e-mail, correspondence and general enquiries
- To provide secretarial and administrative support including typing, photocopying, arranging meetings
- Collating confidential business correspondence and national/global statistics
- Maintain accuracy of all data and key information
- Maintain the central filing system and updating company records
- Ensure all compliance is up to date and the business is falling in line with GDPR rules and regulations
- Help set up and write agendas for the department.
- Minute taking.
- Sit in on meetings and make notes
Skills required:
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role in a corporate environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines.
