Prospectus is delighted to be supporting Kisharon Langdon in their search for an Assistant Director of Supported Living & Community Services within their newly merged charity. From nursery and school to further education, through to employment opportunities and supported living, Kisharon Langdon enables people with learning disabilities and autism to thrive and realise their ambitions and aspirations. As Assistant Director, you will be responsible for supported living and community services including programming, youth provision and volunteering. The role will be based across the services in London and Manchester with regular travel required between regions. As the named nominated individual for all Kisharon Langdon services with CQC, you will be responsible for managing the senior management team to drive quality and service improvement within the organisation, and ensure regulatory and legal compliance of Kisharon Langdon’s services.
Contributing to the implementation of the operations strategy and business planning, you will work alongside senior managers to ensure the voice of the people Kisharon Langdon supports forms an integral part of the organisation’s approach to service quality and delivery. You will provide direction for the management and operation of all Supported Living and community Services ensuring that the service is operated efficiently, in line with regulatory standards.
Previous experience of leadership at a senior level in an organisation of comparable scope, size and complexity is crucial, as is a recognised Health and Social Care qualification. Experience of Social Care and Charity compliance and legal responsibilities as well as awareness of disability issues is also essential. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of effective partnership working and networking with key stakeholders as well as evidence of improving performance and delivering positive outcomes.
