Amazing opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join a multi-national law firm based in Manchester!
As a Personal Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in fostering team cohesion and efficiency. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will represent the fee earners and facilitate seamless communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include;
- Manage diaries, ensuring they are updated daily and reminding fee earners of meetings
- Book internal and external meetings, courses, and conferences
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Arrange photocopying, printing, scanning, and sending out letters
- Supervise general filing requirements and record keeping, including opening and closing files
- Utilize effective systems to complete short and long-term tasks within required timeframes
- Support fee earners in marketing activities, including pitch and presentation preparation
- Handle internal and external telephone queries
- Monitor and respond to post and emails as appropriate
- Pass on client-related correspondence to appropriate fee earners when necessary
- Arrange absence cover and communicate it to relevant fee earners
- Take an active role in client relationship management, maintaining client details and arranging meetings
- Review correspondence and documents produced by the document production team, making amendments as needed
- Type urgent, short, and confidential correspondence and emails
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets as required
- Assist fee earners in recording time and billing processes, as well as financial documentation
- Complete documentation for client account payments and ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Provide support to other department members as needed, including answering calls and undertaking ad hoc duties
Person specification;
- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong telephone etiquette
- Outstanding communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Flexibility and reliability, with a proactive approach
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Conscientious, approachable, and enthusiastic

Salary for this role is up to £33,000 DOE plus great benefits. This is an office based role.
