Job Description
Calex is a specialist training and consultancy organisation working in partnership with several market-leading automotive manufacturers. We are currently seeking to recruit a Planning & Support Coordinatorto join the team at the Volkswagen National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.
The Planning & Support Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining engagement, building strong relationships between the Learning Operations Team and the internal stakeholders, working across the contract to plan and schedule the delivery of our first class learning for the VW Group Network.
The Planning & Support Coordinator will be an organised individual with an eye for detail, they will possess strong communication and IT skills and have previous experience working with a Learning Management System within a learning and development department.

Key Responsibilities
· be responsible for creating and maintaining the training delivery schedule for our clients’ UK Network.
· work closely with the Training Delivery team to resolve resource clashes and
manage changes to the schedule
· be responsible for the integrity of the data held within the scheduling tool and the Learning Management System
· work with multiple stakeholders to effectively prioritise and meet their requirements.
· manage the interface between the scheduling tool and the Learning Management System through which the Network book their training
· complete Ad-Hoc administrative requests as required
- Actively promote a culture of learning and development
- Provide general support to the wider Learning Operations team
- Attendance of meetings as required
About You
· Self-motivated and flexible; able to remain calm under pressure when dealing with
Conflicting demands and short lead times.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential
· Previous experience of scheduling resources, or the use of scheduling systems
- Essential skill in investigation and problem solving
- Strong customer service, communication (written & verbal) and organisational skills
- Experience of using a Learning Management system
- Be highly motivated, resilient and diligent, with an unwavering attention to detail and consistent focus on quality
- Previous experience within a learning and development department
- The ability to communicate with a variety of people within a fast paced environment
- Maintain a professional manner at all times
- Have an outgoing, enthusiastic and confident personality, with a desire to engage with people
- A proficient user of Microsoft 365, particularly Word and Excel,
- Be professional and punctual
- Reflect and champion the Calex, and VWG’s values and expectations
- Adhere to and follow all policies and procedures
- Proven track record of working towards and achieving deadlines in line with company objectives.
- Be a patient and collaborative individual, with the ability to work independently and within teams
- Be organised, assume responsibility and accountability for your own actions

Salary & Benefits
Upto £24,000.00 dependent on experience

Pre-employment Checks
Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with any successful candidate. This includes contacting all nominated references, as well as checking candidate ID, driving licence (if appropriate) and right to work in the UK. Some roles may also be subject to further pre-employment checks (confirmation will be provided through the recruitment process). The nature of this role may necessitate that we undertake a DBS check.
Employment
The successful candidate will be employed by Calex UK (www.calexuk.com). Calex are a specialist automotive training provider and provide training staff and expertise including Trainers, Developers, Digital Learning Experts, and Administrators to Volkswagen Group UK. The successful candidate will join an established team, at the VWG National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.
Place of Work
VWG National Learning Centre, Wymbush, Milton Keynes.
We currently operate hybrid working with at least 60% of time in the National Learning Centre with the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely. Time spent in the office may change.
There will also be times when it may be necessary to work from alternative locations, e.g. VWG facilities and retailers, and other sites as necessary to perform the role.
