Job Title: PR & Communications Executive (Part-time)

Location: Leatherhead, United Kingdom

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum (pro-rated to £16,800 for 21 hours per week)

Job Summary:

Looking for a PR & Communications Executive, you will collaborate closely with my client (Marketing and Communications Manager) to enhance awareness of the organization among our target audiences. Your role will involve managing our press and media strategy to achieve fundraising and brand awareness goals, solidifying our reputation as leaders in our field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate creative, engaging content and ideas for fundraising, brand awareness, and advocacy campaigns.
• Identify and craft compelling stories for media outlets to raise our profile and attract supporters, campaigners, and influencers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to enhance our visibility.
• Produce long-form content, including interviews and articles, across various channels.
• Support the delivery of media appeals and campaigns.
• Conduct research to support fundraising, awareness, and advocacy efforts.
• Ensure effective media monitoring and analysis.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a PR or communications role.
• Ability to tailor communication messages to key audiences and channels.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM database management.
• Confident presenter and networker.

Special Conditions:

• Part-time position, 21 hours per week, spread across 3 days.
• Occasional out-of-office work required to fulfil organizational commitments.
• Flexible working hours to support evening and weekend events.
• Some travel may be necessary.
