West Road Surgery is looking to appoint an experienced Practice Operations Manager to lead our organisation on a full-time basis, and join our friendly team to support our innovative, forward looking practice.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensuring the effective and efficient operations of all systems within the practice
- Optimising efficiency and performance.
- Team Building, staff performance management.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety, employment, data protection and other relevant legislation.
- Ensuring compliance with CQC standard,.
- Assisting with insurance reports.
- Complaint handling.
- Maintaining good relationships and communication with our PCN team.
About the Candidate
If you are an experienced practicemanager looking for a new challenge, then we would love to hear from you.
You will have the following:
- Strong interpersonal skills from team building to performance management.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent knowledge in the day to day application of systems (Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential), including troubleshooting.
- Well organised with the ability to work under pressure, remaining calm, focussed, and approachable.
- Strong ‘can do’ attitude.
- A knowledge of and experience in general practice is an advantage.
