My client is a large international main contractor, who are an established leading name in the construction market. They get involved in a range of projects and build types ranging from £2M up to £100M
The Role
As a key member within the construction industry you will be expected to carry out the following duties:-
To provide a Bid Management and Estimating service that efficiently and effectively supports delivery of the business objectives of the Core Build Division.
Bid Risk Management.
Oversee Creation of Bespoke Bid Documents.
Tender Presentations and Pitch.
Attend interviews for 2-stage tender opportunities as person leading the bid.
Planning/Programming software.
Preparing risk registers.
Preparing method statements.
Seeking quotations and advice on scaffolding, temporary electrics and plant (cranes/hoists).
Meeting and dealing with clients’ representatives/technical advisors on framework opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
To be consider for the role above as a Pre-Construction Manager, Candidates must have gained HNC/HND Building, Ba/BSc Building or MCIOB. Must have experience & knowledge of building construction and a demonstration of a successful career to date, providing an estimating and bid management service within the construction industry.
