Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a growing and reputable not-for-profit organisation based in Alfreton who are looking for a Procurement Officer to join their growing team.
As Procurement Officer, you will have a strong background in public procurement frameworks, writing tenders from initial research through to award.

Procurement Officer Responsibilities:
- Create high quality tender documentation for frameworks and dynamic purchasing systems
- Create and publish all relevant tender adverts/notices in line with the current Public Contract Regulations
- Manage the tender process through the online procurement portal, ensuring compliance with the Public Contract Regulations at all times
- Create all legal documentation in relation to framework and Dynamic Purchasing System agreements
- Undertake financial credit checks on appointed and potential contractors and suppliers
- Ensure that all procurement is undertaken in accordance with business policies and procedures and the latest Public Contract Regulations
- Keep up to date with all relevant regulations and guidance in relation to Public Sector procurement
- Ensure all procurement activity is undertaken in a timely manner to ensure continuity of frameworks and contracts
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 37 hours per week (flexi time)
Required Skills & Experience:
- Working knowledge of Public Contract regulations and tendering (Essential)
- Experience of procuring goods, works and services via formal tendering processes (Essential)
- Understanding of framework agreements, DPS solutions and further competitions (Essential)
- Proven ability to develop and manage productive stakeholder relationships
