Main duties within this role are as follows:
- The set up, development and management of supplier contracts
- Supplier management - establishing, monitoring and logging KPIs
- Management of contractual spend targets
- Management of a variety of supplier contracts, including IT, Telecoms, Travel, Facilities Management, Agency, Capital
- Management of contract database and internal procurement systems (Oracle)
- Keeping up to date with procurement legislation internally and externally
- To be on hand to speak with internal stakeholders and customers regarding procurement
- Experience working within procurement teams within the public sector, for a minimum of 2 years
- A strong ability to handle contract management, along with set up procedures and development
- A strong communicator that is able to effectively deal with suppliers, customers and stakeholders
- Is able to work to deadlines and prioritise work load accordingly
- Has experience dealing with high value contracts
- Well versed in data analysis
- £28,407 per annum
