Procurement Support Lead (Remote)

PROCUREMENT SUPPORT LEAD
We are looking to recruit an experienced Procurement Support Leadfor a facilities management company.
ROLE: Procurement Support Lead
LOCATION: Remote
SALARY: 33,000 to 35,000 per annum
JOB TYPE: The role is temporary ongoing and could lead to a more permanent position
HOURS: Full time, Monday to Friday.
THE ROLE:

• Collaborate with the procurement team to coordinate and execute all aspects of the procurement process, including supplier identification, sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, pre-qualification, on boarding new suppliers, evaluating supplier performance, etc.
• Analyse procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Collaborate with various departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to gather requirements, address procurement-related issues, and align procurement activities with overall organizational goals.
• Functional Maintenance and transactional activities of the ERP system (Coins).

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

• Strong Analytical Skills.
• Proficient with Technology: Experience working with procurement systems and tools, as well as proficiency in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. If you have used Coins, even better.
• Previous experience as a buyer or procurement is essential.
• Knowledge of Procurement Best Practices.
• Adaptability
