Production Engineer

In this role, you will bridge the gap between Engineering and Production teams, ensuring the seamless introduction and sustained efficiency of manufacturing and testing of cutting-edge electronic products. As a key player in our Production team, you'll have the chance to lead the integration of new products into production processes, collaborate closely with Product Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain, and spearhead initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiencies.
Job Responsibilities
- Enhance product development focusing on manufacturability and testability for seamless production integration
- Design and refine production test systems to align with test requirements
- Lead new product introduction to production, coordinating with Product Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain for smooth transitions
- Implement and lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes and efficiencies in collaboration with Production
- Maintain and support production processes and test systems
- Work closely with manufacturing sub-contractors to synchronize manufacturing and test processes
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment
Person Specification
- Engineering or Science degree, or equivalent qualification
- Expertise in Production Engineering with a focus on manufacturing and testing complex electronic products, including PCBs, surface mount assemblies, and mechanical design
- Desirable experience in product design and testing of electronic products
- Proven ability to manage risks in engineering projects with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal, team building, and communication skills
- Pragmatic, with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and planning abilities
- Customer and results-oriented, with the ability to deliver solutions that align with business objectives
Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits
