We are recruiting for a Programme Manager on a 6-month fixed term contract to provide programme management leadership on all transformation activities at Woodgreen.
Reporting into the Director of Corporate Services you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, but especially those tasked with implementing programmes and projects within Woodgreen. You will also have regular contact with the Executive Team and Trustees.
The main purpose of this role is to oversee the delivery of various projects within Woodgreen’s specific programmes of work, ensuring that our established project and programme management processes are followed, including continually reviewing those processes for effectiveness.
You will:
- Provide programme management support to ensure the successful delivery of the various projects within the programme on time, to budget and of the right quality to realise benefits that align with the programme and project sponsor’s expectations.
- Develop and implement a bespoke approach to programme management based on best practice and the requirements of Woodgreen.
- Monitor and report on programme progress to the senior leadership team and trustees through all stages of delivery.
- Provide support to project managers in carrying out their duties ensuring best practice.
- Ensure that Woodgreen’s approach to project management is continually reviewed and updated for effectiveness.
- Consider the organisational change implications of programmes of work, ensuring that these are taken into account in programme design and delivery.
The successful applicant will have extensive relevant experience and be highly skilled in successfully managing projects, programmes and other change initiatives. They will ideally hold a relevant qualification such as MSP practitioner, PRINCE2 practitioner, and/or Agile practitioner.
The role will be based at our site in Godmanchester with the opportunity to work from home on a regular basis.
The salary for this role is circa £61,800 pro rata per annum. This will be complemented by;
- 38 days annual leave entitlement (inclusive of bank holidays) which will increase with length of service to a maximum of 40 days
