Project ManagerJob PurposeOur client is undergoing digital and clinical transformation, particularly through the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme. This initiative aims to revolutionize care delivery across Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly, and the South West Peninsula. The
Project Manager will oversee various projects within this program, ensuring effective implementation, delivery, and review.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Project Delivery: Initiating, analyzing, documenting project requirements, overseeing development, managing concurrent projects, coordinating stakeholders, ensuring quality standards, managing risks, leading project teams, conducting system testing, training users, managing technical issues, and ensuring smooth project handover.
- Project Control: Developing procedures, managing project plans and budgets, handling scope changes, conducting post-implementation reviews, arranging meetings, and assessing project priorities.
- Financial and Contractual: Negotiating and managing project budgets, securing favorable contractual terms, procuring equipment, and monitoring suppliers' performance.
- General: Supporting users, representing IT service, staying updated with IT developments, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

5. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required- Knowledge: Degree level education, IMT/business management qualification, PRINCE2, IT proficiency, and awareness of relevant legislation.
- Skills: Project management, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, leadership, and IT skills.
- Experience: Project management experience, preferably in healthcare, budget management, and dealing with change.
