Contract value: £6m approx.
Scope of works: Refurbishment of a private detached residence, single basement excavation, pilling and underpinning. Refurbishment of the main property with a roof removal and reinstatement. There is an extensive landscaping package with the construction of ancillary leisure buildings including excavation for a new pool and pool house. This project is being completed to a very high standard with bespoke finishes throughout.
Position: Senior Site Manager/ Project Manager
We are currently looking for a manager to lead this project, the successful candidate will initially based out of their office and will be working on the pre-construction of this secured project before going onto site to lead the job. They will be assisted with an established site team and be reporting to a visiting contracts manager.
Responsibilities will include:
- Management of site workers and subcontractors.
- Ensuring Health & safety on site is correct.
- Work permits.
- Schedule and order all project related materials.
- Toolbox talks.
- Site inductions.
- Review and prepare project status reports.
- Chair site meetings.
- Maintaining quality control procedures.
- Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise.
- Short term programme look ahead.
- Progress report.
- Construction related and health & safety paperwork.
- Liaise with Clients ensuring the client expectations are managed proactively and constructively and that clients are kept informed and aware of the project status throughout.
- Preparation and vetting Risk Assessment and Method Statements.
