About the Role:
As part of a major Merger Project at ARU, we are seeking to appoint, to a one-year contract, a Project Officer to join the Academic Registry. The postholder will provide experience and vital business expertise from a perspective of student administration as part of the team of colleagues managing the migration of student and associated records to ARU. Familiar with current and emerging policies in the HE sector, you will be a key player in planning and implementing the data migration and assuring data quality for all affected student and curriculum records. You will also work across the full range of areas of responsibility within the Academic Registry, and also with other professional services across ARU, affording you the opportunity to diversify your skills and HE knowledge base.
You will hold a degree or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification and you will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work accurately under pressure and function both as part of a team and independently. Good organisational skills, the ability to grasp complex issues quickly, demonstrating initiative and attention to detail are essential requirements.
