Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive impression for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent phone etiquette, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Assist with organizing meetings and events
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software
- Conduct research and compile data as requested
- Assist with other clerical duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in office administration is a plus
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computerized systems, including Google Suite and QuickBooks
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Professional appearance and demeanor
