What does the job entail?
On behalf of Warwickshire County Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer within the Adult and Community Learning Team, based at the Pound Lane Learning Centre in Leamington. This is a part time post of 30 hrs a week, Mon - Fri, on a temporary basis until Oct '24. The post does require occasional travel to work in our Nuneaton office, but also offers the opportunity for some working from home over the Summer holidays.
Adult and Community Learning offer courses for adults and families across the county. Whether learners wish to develop skills for employment or everyday life, support children's education, pursue an interest, gain confidence or just to meet new people in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the Business Support team are there to help learners in every stage of their journey with ACL. You will be helping take initial enquiries via the telephone, email and the website, supporting enrolment as well as helping fulfil the Service's administration requirements.
You will achieve this by:
- Providing front of house customer service to learners and tutors
- Helping learners to complete forms
- Assisting with the online portal
- Any other general administrative support as required
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
We are looking for someone who can work in a busy team, you need to have good organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure learner enquiries and enrolments are processed consistently, and have the ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant will require an enhanced DBS check
