Receptionist and Office Coordinator!
Location: Birmingham City Centre - Fully Office Based
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (9am - 5.30pm)
Join our client's prestigious organisation, located in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, as they embark on growth! We are seeking a motivated Receptionist and Office Coordinator. You will be reporting directly to the PA & Office Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with some relevant office-based experience who is eager to learn, grow, and build their Business Support career!
Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Booking and coordinating meeting rooms, ensuring they are prepared and equipped for meetings.
- Serving as a general point of contact within the office, addressing enquiries and providing assistance as needed.
- Supporting the Office Manager and Director with meeting preparations, including scheduling, documentation, and logistics.
- Handling general clerical administration tasks such as typing letters, preparing documentation, and maintaining office records.
- Greeting and hosting visitors, ensuring they have a positive experience while in our office.
- Making teas and coffees for staff, visitors, and clients
- Supporting with general office maintenance such as First Aid, Fire Marshal, stock inventories
- Providing excellent customer and client service, representing our organisation in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Previous office-based experience essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Professional demeanour
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
