Position Summary
This is a hands-on global role reporting to the Associate Director, Employee Experience & Employer Brand, working on key initiatives and campaigns to manage our recruitment communications externally. You’ll love building relationships, working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, and have a passion for solving challenges with creative, data led solutions.
From channel strategy and management, content planning and creation, to producing communications and running global campaigns in different markets, you’ll thoughtfully manage recruitment communications activity that helps to build our employer brand reputation globally.
You’ll understand the power of storytelling, and your combined knowledge of the talent space and candidate desires will ensure you prioritize key moments with the right content, in the right format, at the right time, at every stage of the candidate journey.
You’ll be helping our recruitment teams to meet local hiring needs through consistent and quality employer brand initiatives, and your expertise will help guide and deliver market-leading communications, with a strong focus on our employee value proposition (EVP), Firm values and diversity and inclusion.
Duties and Accountabilities
Recruitment marketing and employer brand programs and initiatives
- Own employer brand global content plans, amplifying our story, and driving engagement across channels through innovative content that cuts through
- Work with local recruitment team stakeholders to develop and implement recruitment marketing programs to support the Firm’s recruiting objectives, across various talent pipelines including: students & graduates, experienced lawyers and business professionals
- Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to:
- Oversee all recruitment marketing content across the Firm’s digital and offline platforms
- Lead the development and publication of recruitment content for our careers hub, Inside White & Case
- Manage the Firm’s employer brand social media campaigns, working closely with the social media team, advising on platform and content strategy
- Support the ongoing development of the Firm’s global and local careers sites
- Manage day-to-day relationships with creative agencies, media providers and external consultants
- Use awareness/perception and market insight research to inform ongoing recruitment communications strategy
- Keep ahead of industry trends, and advise on how the Firm can constantly innovate across digital and social media efforts to support recruitment and the employee experience
- Drive employee advocacy through the adoption of the Firm’s employee advocacy tool looking for opportunities to increase users and amplify content.
Advisory and Collaboration
- Act as a trusted advisor to Global Recruitment Team, understanding hiring needs and local nuances for talent attraction
- Work with Marketing Communications and People functions as well as external agencies to evolve the employer brand strategy and champion its effective implementation
- Ensure close collaboration with colleagues in Social Media, Media Relations, Internal Communications, Creative Services, as well as key stakeholders within the Firm.
Quantifying and Reporting Results
- Design and implement tools and initiatives to communicate successes and demonstrate value of the Firm’s employer brand programs globally
- Generate employer brand performance reports and analyze patterns on key metrics, supporting the function to be data, insights and results led.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Employer Branding and/or Recruitment Marketing or Marketing and/or communications
- Proven track record in implementing successful employer branding/marketing initiatives and digital campaigns
- Proficient with social media channels and social scheduling tools; able to identify and create appropriate content for existing and new platforms
- Experience working in a global organization and able to demonstrate a strong global mindset
- Experience of legal or professional services or similar corporate environment, preferably with a mix of agency and client-side experience
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) with confidence and ability to deal with senior stakeholders at all levels
- High emotional intelligence and ability to understand and navigate a professional services partnership
- Passionate, proactive, solution orientated, creative thinker and able grasp concepts and processes quickly
- Proven project management skills
- Experience dealing with multiple constituencies and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
