Key Accountabilities:
➢ Sourcing and Attracting Candidates:
- Utilise various channels (online platforms, social networks, job boards) to identify potential candidates.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to build candidate pipelines.
- Promote the company’s brand through recruitment initiatives and events.
➢ Interviewing and Selection:
- Conduct interviews and assess candidates’ qualifications.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define selection criteria.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Support hiring manager with interviewing process ➢ Long-Term Strategy:
- Provide input to ensure diverse and qualified teams.
- Align staffing needs with the organisation’s long-term goals.
- Devise and implement sourcing strategies, including employer branding initiatives.
➢ Relationship Building:
- Form close relationships with hiring managers to set clear expectations for candidates and interviewers.
• Foster trust with potential hires. ➢ Preboarding and Documentation: • Issue offer, employment contracts and related documents.
- Facilitate background checks, reference verifications, and other pre-employment screenings.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. ➢ Coordination and Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process.
- Communicate onboarding procedures to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to align new employees with their teams.
- Liaising with different agencies for complex roles ➢ Compliance and Record Keeping:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records related to onboarding activities.
- Assist with any necessary adjustments or updates
What you’ll need:
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Ability to devise effective sourcing strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across departments.
