Recruitment and Payroll Officer
We are supporting our client with recruitment to a 7-month fixed term contract through until 30th September 2024 for a Recruitment and Payroll Officer.
You will need strong Recruitment and Payroll experiences having worked within a similar position. The deadline for application for screening with us is Monday 19th February at the latest for applications with CV and covering letters to reach out client no later than Tuesday 20th February.
The ideal start date would be Tuesday 5th March following a successful interview.

Our client is an independent global humanitarian charity located in London.
What would you be doing?
The Recruitment and Payroll Officer will be responsible for the day to day management and coordination of recruitment, onboarding, induction, payroll and benefits services.
The Recruitment and Payroll Officer works with an annual budget of £55k, which covers recruitment advertising and agency costs. The position has one-two direct reports (HR Administrator(s)).
Duties include:
* With the HR Change Advisor and HR team implement effective and integrated recruitment, on-boarding and induction processes to support potential and current staff.
* Oversee the recruitment, on-boarding and induction stages of the employee life cycle, including new staff onboarding and inductions.
* Be a member of the project team for the new recruitment system, supporting its effective implementation, and ensuring that it supports effective recruitment processes.
* Provide support to HR Services for the administration and processing of payroll and the staff benefits package.
* Liaise with the Data and Systems Manager to ensure the HR system holds accurate data and that effective recruitment data is provided for internal audiences.
* Assist with the management of suppliers to ensure valuable service.
* Any other HR generalist, Recruitment and Payroll related responsibilities as needed.
About You
You will need to be both flexible and proactive in building collaborative and constructive working relationships both within the immediate HR team and with stakeholders in the wider organisation.
The job holder will need to regularly update employment law knowledge and other regulatory directions (for example, UK immigration law) to ensure compliancy with current legislation.
* A current qualification with the CIPD or equivalent.
* Experience of working in a generalist HR environment with specific experience in Recruitment and Payroll.
* Demonstrable knowledge of UK employment legislation coupled with proven ability to interpret policies and apply them to queries.
* Good understanding of UK immigration law with the ability to advice on changes and updates.
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with experience of managing multiple tasks, working accurately and to deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills.
* Team player with the ability to manage projects on their own.
* Experience in the practical use of personal IT equipment and Microsoft Office 365 suite. The ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within a hybrid working environment utilising Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive.
* Fluency in written and spoken English.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* An exceptional level of organisation and attention to detail.
What's in it for you?
In return the Recruitment and Payroll Officer is a contracted position paying up to £37,799.92p - salary dependent on experience.
Our client offers a hybrid working model; you will work partially in office a minimum of 3 days per week with the remainder working from home. This position is a 37.5 hour working week Mon-Fri - core hours are 10am-4pm with flexibility to start earlier or finish later around these hours.
