We are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Care Home Manager to manage a specialist care home for adults with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care, support, and leadership in a warm and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership to the care and support team, ensuring a person-centred approach.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
- Foster a positive and supportive work culture, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care programs, making adjustments as necessary.
- Effectively communicate with residents, their families, and the care team.
- Collaborate with external healthcare professionals and stakeholders to enhance the overall care provision.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Manager with a relevant professional qualification (e.g., Level 5).
- Proven experience managing a care home, preferably within learning disabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
