LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a large UK health regulator, which regulates the practice of healthcare professionals across the UK. They are seeking a lawyer to work in their registration investigations team, to support on a specific project which will last for roughly 6 months.
You will work in a small and dedicated team to provide legal advice, and take responsibility for case investigation review, preparation and case presentation. You will conduct advocacy before hearings panels, applying relevant legislation and policy, and be able to make decisions on appeals and litigation applications.
To apply you will be:
- A UK-qualified solicitor, admitted to the SRA for England and Wales
- Experienced working in a healthcare regulatory environment
- Available to start this 6-month contract on a notice period of 4 weeks or less
- Able to commute to the office in London on a hybrid basis of 2 days per week in the office
The salary band is £56,043 - £62,271 per annum, which will be calculated pro-rata for the 6 month period of work.
