Form of work We are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to work on a remote basis for an established employer. You must have experience of working in professional accounting practice with a firm of accountants. You MUST be based in the Central Belt of Scotland, as you will be expected to touch base once a week to discuss existing work and to be given new assignments.
The successful applicant should have experience of the preparation of client accounts and of straightforward personal tax. You will also be responsible for bookkeeping duties at an experienced level and you need to have worked in an established firm of accountants, not just for one client on a self-employed footing.
You will preferably have experience of Xero and further experience of other accounting software is helpful. You will work on a cloud-based footing.
You will be given full support to set up and work from home. You will need to meet up once a week, so you MUST be within commuting distance of Edinburgh. Urgent
