With a commitment to excellence and a focus on cutting-edge technology, our client is expanding their team and seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving the growth of their conveyor belt business for Materials Handling and Packaging.
Job Description
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand our market presence in the Materials Handling and Packaging/Food manufacturing industries
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored conveyor belt solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, showcasing the value and benefits of our conveyor belt solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Regularly report on sales activities, market trends, and pipeline development.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager with experience in Materials Handling, Food Manufacturing or Packaging
- In-depth knowledge of conveyor belt systems, applications, and industry standards would be advantageous
- Strong business acumen with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel as required.
