Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Administrator to join our team. As a Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of our sales processes. This is a full-time position based in our office in London.
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales documents, proposals, and contracts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in our computerised database
- Assist with order processing and invoicing
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Manage the sales team's calendars and schedule appointments and meetings
- Prepare sales reports and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Assist with market research and competitor analysis
Experience:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a sales or customer service environment
- Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Sage or other accounting software is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of fluency in English
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently
