Sales Coordinator / Quality Control Role - One Year Fixed Term Contract
This reputable tour operator is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join them for a one-year fixed term contract. Your main responsibility will be to support the Team Managers and Sales Manager with the day-to-day operations of the department helping to check the quality and to improve processes.
Sales Coordinator - What Will I be doing?
- You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of the booking process and managing reporting systems to support the department's overall functioning.
- You will work behind the scenes in a quality control capacity, spot checking bookings, listening to calls, looking at processes to ensure that the team are working as efficiently as possible and performing to the best of their ability.
- Your duties will include some leading of training sessions with the team managers to help them improve their team's performance, developing innovative ideas, and implementing efficient processes to enhance results. A key aspect of this role involves fostering continuous improvement in the end-to-end service for customers and travel partners.
- Your checking will ensure compliance with established standards and identify areas for improvement.
- You will work closely with other departments to reduce business risk and maximise sales.
- Demonstrate efficient and accurate reporting skills, providing insightful data and analysis to support informed decision-making and performance evaluation.
Sales Coordinator - What experience do I need?
- It is essential that you have worked in a call centre environment ideally within the travel industry where you have been involved in quality assurance or process improvement or performance improvement. Perhaps you have worked in a quality control capacity or as a team leader or team manager or in operations where you were responsible for ensuring things ran smoothly.
- You will need efficient and accurate reporting skills.
- Experience in team coaching and development.
- Excellent Communication skills
- An understanding of balancing customer service and commercial acumen
Sales Coordinator - What else do I need to know?
This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in their fabulous offices - you will be paid a salary of GBP28k plus some great benefits to include discounted holidays, healthcare cash plan, pension, volunteer days, 25 days holiday, excellent facilities at the office. It is Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30. This is a one-year fixed term contract.
