Concept Resources are proud to be working with a Design and Manufacturing firm based in Stockport who are looking for a Sales Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience in a similar role preferably in a manufacturing environment, and have knowledge inside the retail industry.
The client is a smaller family run business and have great working benefits, in return you are expected to work as part of a team company wide, covering other departments when needed. This role requires you to be able to commute to their office in Stockport (SK6) when needed with a minimum of 1 day a week then remote working most days when not out on the road.
Job Purpose
To identify and develop new business opportunities and revenue streams, working on a B2B basis to drive the company into new business areas. Whilst, providing a high level of account management to existing customers, monitoring sales.
Role and Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to marketing, engineering and other appropriate divisions.
- Provide estimates, quotations and costing proposals.
- Dealing with incoming enquiries.
- Achieve individual quarterly and annual sales revenue targets from new business and existing customers.
- Achieve lead generation targets.
Person Specification:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience selling B2B, ideally in a similar role and industry (Design & Manufacturing)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience of selling POP and bespoke equipment.
- A proven track record of successful selling to major accounts and business development experience.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Clean driving license.
- Working on a B2B basis driving the company into new business areas.
- Sales personality - Customer service skills, telephone manner
- Attention to detail and passionate about your work
