MJM Industrial are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager to work directly for a market-leading global operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibility of the Sales Manager will be to help expand both current accounts and acquiring new business. Your primary objective is to build and develop strong relationships with our customers. You will be tasked with ensuring the development of solutions and proposals that align with customer needs, providing the most valuable and effective solutions and services.

 Your role will include but is not limited to:

• Establish and grow relationships with customers
• Take charge of and coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the tender process for sales opportunities, whether they involve projects or services.
• Oversee diverse teams to define scope, design solutions, and plan ahead for the best value.
• Collaborate closely with the UK Contracts Manager in negotiating terms for project opportunities.
• Lead presentations to customers, covering pricing, products, system layouts, and operational details.
• Establish effective collaboration with all departments, both domestically and internationally (e.g., NEME, India), to exceed customer expectations.

YOUR BACKGROUND AND RESPONSIBILITIES

It is essential you meet the following criteria to be successful when applying for this position:

• Prior experience in automation within an Engineering or Manufacturing setting.
• Desirable familiarity with the UK parcel market and/or customer operations.
• Robust skills in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Essential capability to interpret drawings.
• Willingness to engage in European travel as necessary.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
