Temporary to Permanent Role - This role will start off on a Temp basis, with the opportunity of it going perm.
Tempest Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of a school based in Westminster who are looking to appoint an experiencedFinanceManager.
The role will focus on providing financial support alongside the Headteacher and working closely with Governors to provide budget monitoring. It is important that applicants have previous experience working within the finance department of a school. Ideally the candidate will have worked for a Trust before.
The position will require you to manage a finance officer and provide support to the rest of the administration office with financial queries, also providing any necessary training to those in your team who might need it or join later on down the line.
The perfect candidate will have previous experience as a FinanceManager within a school or education setting where you have used FMS and other finance software such as Access. They will need a strong understanding of accounts and budgeting.
As a Finance Assistant you will have:
- Extensive experience with RM Finance
- Good IT skills
. Financial management experience within a school
- Excellent time management
- Impeccable organisation skills
- Strong communication skills
- An enhanced DBS check
As a Finance Assistant you may have:
- Been working towards or have an AAT, ACCA or CIMA certificate or a BA Accounting & Finance.
