We are a recruitment agency who are supporting a school with their recruitment for a Reception and Administration Assistant. This role is to start in January and will be long term, and could turn permanent for the right candidate.
As a Reception and Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Greeting visitors and answering phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Managing the school's email inbox and responding to queries
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
- Supporting the school's finance and payroll functions
- Assisting with the organisation of school events and trips
- Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies
- Providing general administrative support to the school leadership team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT systems
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A positive and flexible attitude
- An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
The hours for this role are 8am - 4.00pm Monday & Tuesday, 8am - 3.30pm Wednesday - Friday. The salary is competitive and dependent on experience and qualifications.
