SalaryWe are currently working with a SEND School based in Dorking who are currently looking for a personable and friendly receptionist to join their team.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all visitors visiting the school so a polite and friendly manner is a requirement. The successful candidate must:
- Be able to multitask and manage a full workload while maintaining confidentiality
- Be able to work as part of a team but also be able to use their initiative and work on an individual basis
- Effectively communicate with young people and be able to reinforce positive behavioural expectations
- Work to strict deadlines
- Have a good knowledge of MS Office and ideally school specific programmes
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to engage with visitors which may sometimes include reluctant parents/carers
- Be adaptable and flexible
- Be committed to the safety and wellbeing of all the students in the school
