Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is a key role in our Accounting & Finance department, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all financial matters. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.

Description

• Ownership and responsibility for Statutory accounts preparation and audit
• Preparing the production of the statutory accounts under local GAAP and/or liaising with external providers
• Leading ongoing country compliance and ensuring robust control environment is in place across the regions.
• Delivering high quality reporting by reviewing and overseeing monthly management accounts
• Manage preparation & approval of month end journal entries for entities across EMEA within Group deadlines.
• Improve and streamline Month end close process by standardising month end close checklist and automating repetitive tasks
• Supporting the overall improvements of ERP, systems, processes, and procedures

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA,CIMA, ACCA)
• Work experience as an accountant with strong working knowledge of P&L, balance sheet, intercompany accounting, auditing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong understanding and application of accounting principles under US GAAP, IFRS and Local GAAP
• Extensive ERP Experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• International experience a plus
