Senior Accounts Assistant

This opportunity is a Fixed Term Contract from 3 to 6 months.
We are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join our clients Finance team at their offices in Rugby.
As a Senior Accounts Assistant, you will support the Accounts Team Leader in managing the day-to-day work of the Finance team, including credit control, sales and purchase ledger and general ledger accounting.
You will also ensure the accuracy of accounting records and processes, and complete tasks within agreed deadlines. You will communicate effectively with the finance team and other functions, and demonstrate leadership in Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) matters.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a qualification in AAT or equivalent experience, as well as excellent excel skills.
You will also have experience of financial systems and business processes and be able to identify opportunities for improvement. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work well in a team and cross functionally. You will have a proactive and “can do“attitude, and be tenacious, thorough and determined.
Ideally solid experience with EXCEL, and CODA.
