Job description

My client is looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Administrator to support a small team in the efficient delivery of pallet shipments across the UK. This role requires active participation in daily operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while maximising carrying capacity. Accurate administration skills, flexibility, and IT literacy are essential, along with a proactive willingness to learn and lead by example.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilise the Track order & dispatch software for efficient management of daily operations.
* Work closely with customers to exceed their expectations and address any concerns promptly.
* Conduct office administration tasks, including accurate data entry, filing, and invoicing.
* Identify optimal pallet fill opportunities and manage distribution strategies.
* Manage and document issues, particularly damaged goods, and complete necessary insurance forms.
* Analyse opportunities for process improvement and lead cross-functional development of solutions.
* Drive implementation of solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
* Promote and optimise European pallet services.
* Handle customer service inquiries via emails, calls, and web messages.
* Collect and account for all Proof of Deliveries from Pallet Track.
* Monitor and follow up on outbound deliveries at scheduled times.
* Download jobs from the web portal, update collections board, and manage 3rd party collections.
* Timely job entry, ensuring proper rates are assigned, and all jobs are added to the board promptly.
* Scan customer paperwork, driver deliveries, and run sheets.
* Undertake additional duties contributing to the smooth running of the business.

* Strong organisational and administration skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Proficient IT skills.
* Flexibility and willingness to adapt in a dynamic environment.
* Problem solving skills
* Previous experience in logistics would be advantageous.
