Your new role
As the Senior Business Accountant, you will be the key business partner to the Executive Director and Senior Managers in Northern Ireland, providing expert advice and support on financial matters and ensuring they have the relevant analysis to make effective business decisions. You will proactively support financial awareness and provide guidance and training to ensure compliance with the Group financial regulations, accounting best practice, and statutory obligations. You will have a high level of technical accounting expertise and be able to demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will hold a recognised CCAB qualification or equivalent, be able to demonstrate excellent management accounting and communication skills and have significant experience in other finance department roles.
You will bring to the role a desire to continuously improve financial processes, keeping value for money at the forefront for new and current business initiatives across the directorates and sharing these improvements with your colleagues in the Group Finance Team.
You will have the ability to foster strong professional relationships and encourage close collaboration between departments.
