Senior Business Development Manager Private Wealth
Senior Business Development Manager role aligned to this mid-sized international law firm’s flagship Private Client and Wealth practice. This firm is large enough to have its name on the map, but small enough to be agile and respond quickly to great ideas you may want to get off the ground. Leading a BD team aligned to the relevant practices, you will be responsible for the strategy and execution of BD & marketing plans and campaigns and helping in the identification, creation and progression of opportunities to win new business. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading internal meetings with Partners to update business planning, following up on action points and share information about clients.
- Support the targeting process, providing market and client data to strengthen client and intermediary relationships.
- Having strategic input into the key messaging of pitches, playing an advisory and coaching role to Partners.
- Undertaking ad hoc research on markets, sectors and industries for specific Business Development initiatives to gain market insights. Share insights and ideas with Partners and create campaigns/BD initiatives from this.
- Involvement and support on firm wide key projects.
This is a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager looking for a step up or a Senior Business Development Manager in a smaller law firm looking to work for a larger, higher profile firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in a legal or private wealth firm, and be a strong manager/developer of people. Line management experience is essential.
