Our client proudly supporting jewellers across the country.
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Senior Buyer to join their Supply Chain team.
Your key responsibilities will be:

- You will be managing suppliers across a range of direct/indirect categories to ensure they have the capacity, capability and flexibility to support the business.
- You will create and deliver effective sourcing plans to drive down costs and deliver value, ensuring a robust and secure supply chain is maintained and the best procurement solutions are identified.
- You will be managing the day to day operations of the purchasing function, developing and implementing a purchasing strategy with a drive towards purchasing excellence and reducing costs.
What you’ll need to bring to the show:

- At least 2 years’ experience in a procurement and supply role
- Understanding of budget holder procurement needs
- Ability to analyse and interpret data
- Significant experience of improving processes and material flow
- Able to work a flexible shift pattern between the hours of 7am - 8pm
- Excellent communication skills and able to present to senior leaders

Hours of Work

Our client’s working week totals 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday. Hours can be flexible but will need to suit business requirements.
