An exciting Senior Client Manager/Senior Accounts Manager vacancy, in the Wimbledon area, with one of the largest firms of Chartered Accountants in the UK, undergoing a record-breaking period of growth.
This is a business critical, leadership role within the firm's Accounts & Outsourcing team, working with large, complex clients and supporting the wider team, with opportunities to progress into a Director role.

Description
You will be working in the firm's Accounting & Business Advisory team, in the Wimbledon area, providing an outstanding quality of work and service to their clients, ranging from SME's, private clients and larger organisations based both in the UK and internationally, across a variety of sectors.
- You'll lead and support expert advisors, building bespoke solutions across a range of disciplines, according to client needs.
- Focusing on preparation of statutory accounts for clients, particularly consolidated accounts, consolidation workings, cash flow reporting and complex accounting disclosures.
- You will be part of a dynamic and evolving leadership team driving the strategy of the Accounting and Business Advisory business unit in line with the firm's overall goals.
- Building strong working relationships within the firm, with other teams such as audit and tax, and with the client, using your skills to promote our services ensuring any problems or requests are dealt with promptly.
- Working alongside another business unit partners to expand new services such as international groups, externally audited accounts, financial services clients, and year-end support for clients.
- Support with mentoring, supervising and training junior managers to support the wider team (c20 members in your local team).
Profile
- ACCA or ACA (or equivalent) qualified with excellent experience of statutory financial statements preparation and reviewing.
- Experience managing a team is essential.
- Exposure to preparing both audited and non-audited financial statements.
- Knowledge and experience of IFRS and UK GAAP for a variety of businesses, particularly large groups.
- Recent, or previous experience managing a portfolio of clients and projects, working within a framework.
- US GAAP experience is an advantage but not a necessity.
- Relevant recent experience working in a practice accountancy environment.
- Knowledge of FRS 103 preferable.
Job Offer
Salary circa £70,000 - £100,000 per annum + benefits.
