Senior Commercial Manager Nl (Fresh Produce)

FMK are looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join a vibrant and successful Fresh Produce team . Although the HO is based in the UK this will be a new set-up based in The Netherlands (Rotterdam). This is an International Fresh Produce company looking to build on extraordinary growth over the last few years to bring forward their strategy to expand under their ‘own steam’ into EU. They are strong in both Fruit and Vegetable categories and looking to widen the scope of products at the request of their customers.

We are looking for a talented individual :

• A senior Trader / Commercial Manager with a serious track record in Fresh Produce buying and selling.
• Specialist knowledge in Fresh Produce categories of the Supply base and the Client / customers involved.
• No stranger to Business Development , NPD and new territories.
• Open and intelligent approach to managing your business and team aspirations.
• Enough experience to know a ‘good opportunity’ and one ‘too good to be true’.
• Someone who is self-contained and confident in their abilities with realistic goals.
• Someone who has language abilities to enable interaction between growers and global clients.
• Well-established as a Trader / Commercial Manager with knowledge of EU / Global markets and looking to ‘own’ their established territory and contribute to the shared aims of the company in procurement and sales.
