Senior Compliance Officer - Funds

A continually growing Asset Management business is looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to join the business in a newly created role. Working closely with the Head of Compliance this role will be an integral cog working closely with the sub-teams across the Compliance function. Candidates should also have a good funds knowledge of UCITS & AIFS.
Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the business advising them on complex queries as they arise.
• Analyse & implement regulatory developments that affect the business.
• Assist in the continued development of the Compliance function.
• Lead ongoing initiatives & projects across the Compliance team and wider business.
• Advise the fund management business on any relevant queries.
• Ad hoc projects.

Job Requirements:

• A strong generalist Compliance background working within a similar fund management business.
• Excellent knowledge of the FCA handbook, including COBS & CASS
• Knowledge and understanding of UCITS & AIFMD.
• Degree educated, preferable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good communicator, comfortable dealing with all levels of staff.
