We have an exciting opportunity for a Content Marketing specialist to join Pharmaceutical Press (PhP), part of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. As Senior Content Marketing Executive you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Content Marketing strategy in support of business and brand objectives.
We are seeking a candidate with the dual abilities to create content that meets brand guidelines and copy conventions, and who can ensure optimal engagement in the content by meeting the needs of our audiences. You will work closely with the three-person campaign delivery team, the Senior CRM Specialist and Head of Marketing.
Main Accountabilities
Developing and implementing Content Marketing strategies across all sectors and territories and measuring their effectiveness.
Planning, delivering, and measuring SEO strategies to increase relevant inbound audience to the marketing website.
Creating and executing social media strategies to enhance social engagement and drive traffic to the website.
Collaborating with Marketing, Editorial, and Product teams to create compelling product and service value propositions.
Generating content in various formats for use across all marketing channels.
Managing the Content Marketing budget to ensure expenditures align with plans.
Building strong relationships with Sales, Editorial, and Product teams, representing the Marketing team and working together towards shared goals.
Requirements:
Essential:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience demonstrating expertise.
Proficient in content creation for B2B brands, particularly in conventional or regulated environments.
Excellent copywriting skills adaptable to brand guidelines and conventions.
Strong understanding and application of user experience design principles.
Experience in implementing effective search engine optimisation strategies.
Ability to analyse data for actionable insights, blending creativity with analytical prowess.
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality content.
Strong project management skills and ability to multitask.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively with various stakeholder groups.
Desirable:
Familiarity with WordPress, Pardot, Vimeo, Hootsuite, and Google Analytics.
Previous experience in budget and agency management.
Knowledge of the healthcare sector is advantageous.

Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals trust us to provide expert analysis, educational support, webinars, and news that informs, supports and enhances their practice. We independently source, evaluate, and communicate and make practical medicines knowledge accessible worldwide. In the Publishing Directorate, the following teams work collaboratively to provide our world-class products: the Journals team; the Sales and Marketing team (in which this role sits); the Technology team; the Product team and the Editorial team.
How we are currently working
RPS supports and works in a hybrid way, which means you will be able to work from home, however, there will be an expectation for collaborative face-to-face working – on average and typically this may be something between 4-8 working days per month at our London Office.
