About Us:
Our Legal & Compliance Analytics team is an integral part of our wider Analytics team, consisting of over 70 talented analysts and engineers. We're dedicated to leveraging data-driven insights to support responsible gaming initiatives, detect problematic gambling behavior early, and optimize the effectiveness of our responsible gaming tools and processes.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Data Analyst in Legal & Compliance Analytics.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis requests covering various aspects of customer behaviors, including sportsbook betting, casino games, and interactions with Customer
- Support, as well as Kindred's operations in Player Sustainability and Player Risk.
- Lead complex analyses for stakeholders, managing and delivering full-cycle descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics projects.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and present conclusions to stakeholders, providing actionable insights.
- Assess the impact of proposed policy and procedural changes through data analysis.
- Reconcile data integrity issues when identified and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities for operational improvements through data analysis.
- Continuously enhance both technical and soft skills, staying abreast of industry developments and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to other analysts, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
Your Experience:
- Strong working knowledge of R, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Practical experience completing data projects using SQL, R, or Python in an industry setting, with at least 3-4 years of experience in an analytical role.
- Proficiency in exploring and analyzing structured and unstructured data, with the ability to effectively communicate findings through data visualization.
- Experience designing and engineering metrics, KPIs, or scorecards to measure performance.
- Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques such as logistic regression, clustering, linear regression, and decision trees is a plus.
- Ability to gather and establish requirements from non-technical audiences and present complex information persuasively to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Fraud Prevention, Anti-Money Laundering, or Responsible Gambling is advantageous but not required.
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or other related disciplines is preferred.
