Senior Finance Analyst

A renowned manufacturing business with a global presence are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join them on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Fareham, you will be offered hybrid and flexible working as well as an enhanced pension, private medical care and a generous holiday allowance.
As Senior Finance Analyst, you will be a pivotal member of the commercial finance team. Working with prominent members of an impressive pedigree business, you will be tasked with assisting the company in pinpointing and investigating key drivers and numerous trends, as well as providing digestible analysis for non-technical stakeholders.
Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the consolidation of regional budgets, forecasts and actuals
• Managing the sales planning cycle
• Business partnering with distribution departments to assess volume drives across various cycles
• Supporting senior leaders with analysis and insight
• Encouraging best practice in reporting within the regional FP&A team
• Assisting the FP&A manager with reporting tasks
• Presenting information to senior leaders – including the ‘why’ behind the numbers

What you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Senior Finance Analyst / Finance Analyst / FP&A Manager /Financial Planning Analyst / Finance Business Partner / Senior Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant
• Working knowledge of Hyperion/Essbase is essential
• Proven experience of reporting at a senior level
• A background in large, internationally owned corporations with a matrix structure
• To be a confident, inquisitive and communicative person
