As Mumsnet continues to expand, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Programmatic Sales Manager/ProgrammaticSales Partner. An ideal candidate will have existing Programmatic sales experience and deep relationships with UK based agencies and Programmatic trading teams.
The role will suit someone with a strong sense of ownership and problem solving. We are looking for an individual that has an impressive commercial track record and can hit and exceed annual revenue targets. They will also ensure best in class programmatic proposals are taken to clients that are looking to reach and engage with our highly sought after audience, whilst never compromising on Mumsnet’s mission to make parents' lives easier.
Leveraging Mumsnet’s 1st party data to firmly place Mumsnet as the destination to reach parents online, they will keep up to date with new product developments which drive innovation in our offering, be involved in strategic projects, and evangelise and promote Programmatic products to the wider sales team.
They will have the opportunity to grow accounts and relationships and build consultative and commercial partnerships with a range of clients to secure campaigns as well as partnership contracts. Candidates should have a strategic mind, a collaborative spirit, and the drive to focus and commit. They’ll be working with some of the most senior thought-leaders across agencies and surrounded by smart, driven, cheerful people who are passionate about taking on new challenges.
This is envisaged to be a full-time role based in London, but we are happy to consider more flexible options for the right candidate.
Core responsibilities
- Prospect and engage with programmatic agencies and clients, opening doors to kickstart new programmatic relationships
- Build strong, sustainable relationships with agencies; manage each partner effectively to increase revenue and identify opportunities to cross/up sell
- Develop solutions in conjunction with the Programmatic Team that meet client marketing and digital advertising objectives, including proposals and presentations on audiences, insights and unique product differentiators
- Collaborate with the Programmatic Team to help steer campaigns and ensure their success, and not be afraid to jump in and help ensure their successful delivery
- Drive consistent billings growth in programmatic deals (PG/PMP/PA) to deliver on quarterly team targets
- Keep the programmatic client landscape up-to-date with Mumsnet’s developments and keep us front-of-mind
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of the UK programmatic landscape, and expertise in digital media with experience either working within an agency, trading desk, ad tech or a publisher
- Brilliant relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and publishing solutions
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and be highly organised
- Proactive self-starter, ability to establish priorities and work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrable ability to deliver on financial commitments
- A strong commitment to collaboration and maintaining substantial relationships with colleagues and clients
- Understand the big picture and help unite others around doing the right thing for our clients and long-term business objectives
- Experience in utilising audience data in media activation is a big plus
