Due to ongoing growth, we have a Senior Front of House role open within the firm. This will be a busy role, taking responsibility for the efficient running of our front of house and switchboard services. You will focus on the development of the team members whilst ensuring our clients receive a positive and excellent experience every time, whether this is in person at the office or by telephone.
You will assist with:
- Lead from the front - Motivate and mentor the team - bringing out the best in their customer service standards.
- Manage the rota for FOH, ensuring cover between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00.
- Meet and greet all visitors and staff in the office, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage meeting rooms, updating internal guest lists, and arranging refreshments or other requirements.
- Ensure tidiness and general upkeep of the client facing areas and assisting with hospitality for in-house events.
- Liaise with the Events team to provide support for internal events.
- Manage Firm hospitality requests.
- Manage security passes and access to the building for deliveries, and collections.
- Liaise with the Facilities team to support them in the smooth running of the building.
- Deal with clients and fee-earners face to face and on the telephone.
- Answer all incoming telephone calls via the switchboard in a timely manner, displaying empathy and excellent customer service to all callers.
- Manage courier and taxi bookings on behalf of clients and fee earners.
- Manage FOH processes and ensuring that the team keep up expected standards.
- Provide cover for the Support team as and when required and other relevant administration and housekeeping tasks.
- Suggest and implement service level improvements.
You will ideally:
- Have a minimum of one years’ experience in a busy front of house role.
- Have previous experience supervising others.
- Professional appearance, with good manners and a willingness to provide a quality service to the client.
- An excellent communicator and able to communicate with vulnerable clients and professionals visiting the office.
- Be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude, strong organisational skills, an ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Be confident, approachable/friendly, articulate, and work well in a team.
- Be an enthusiastic, positive, team player with strong leadership skills.
- Be proactive and be prepared to assist with anything within the Facilities or Support team’s domain.
- Have an excellent work ethic, including excellent time keeping skills, and the ability to act and communicate professionally.
Working hours will be flexible between the core hours of 08:00 and 18:00 (on a rota basis), with occasional cover for out of hours events and any emergencies that may arise.
