Senior Service Charge Accountant

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a top 25 Accountancy practice looking for finance professionals to join their Service Charge Team in a role with hybrid working (2 days WfH per week) and study support with strong development potential in a growing team.
These roles are office based in central Southampton. Experience working in Service Charge would be advantageous although people with finance experience, especially in construction or property, will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities (these will vary across Service Charge maternity cover, Service Charge permanent and Senior services Charge but may include);

• Undertaking the execution of ISA800 audit assignments and Factual Findings Reports for our client s Service Charge accounts in accordance with best practice
• Reviewing the work performed by more junior members of the team, and dealing with queries and client questions
• Aiding in the overall delivery of exceptional client service to our market leading clients

The ideal candidate for this role will have accounting experience (ideally either within practise or within Service Charge), strong communication and attention to detail, good excel skills (pivot tables and vlookups) and a pro-active mindset. Candidates looking for a salary towards the top of the band would also be expected to have strong reporting and business partnering skills.
