Trade Mark Assistant Opportunity with Leading International Law Firm

The Role:
As a Trade Mark Assistant within the Intellectual Property team in London, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting new and ongoing Trade Mark projects. Your responsibilities will include portfolio onboarding, international recordal and renewal project management, correspondence review, due diligence, and data audits related to Trade Mark and IP portfolios.
Duties include but are not limited to;
- Support Trade Mark projects, including portfolio onboarding and international recordal.
- Review incoming and outgoing correspondence, identifying key information and updating databases.
- Assist with due diligence and data audits for Trade Mark and IP portfolios.
- Prepare and file application forms for Trade Marks, designs, renewals, assignments, licenses, etc.
- Maintain documentation, update internal sites/shared drives, and assist in project progression.
- Implement standard system-generated documents for global offices.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Trade Mark Assistant, Trade Mark Administrator or Trade Mark Paralegal in a law firm or P&TM Attorneys.
- CITMA qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Working knowledge of WebTMS (IPPO) or a similar Trade Mark system.
- Strong technical document management skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to stay calm in demanding situations and strong organisational skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential matters.
