Senior Transactional Procurement Officer

I m excited to be recruiting for a Remote Procurement Officer to join a multi-faceted public sector organisation that offers ample opportunity for career development and growth.

As the Senior Transactional Procurement Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategies and managing contracts across a diverse range of sectors including IT, Telecoms, Travel, and more. You'll be the driving force behind ensuring value for money, enhancing supplier relationships, and delivering outstanding performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage robust supplier contracts, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
• Assist with supplier management, setting and monitoring Key Performance Indicators for continuous improvement.
• Help with customer service, fostering effective communication and managing spend targets.
• Oversee a portfolio of corporate contracts and maintain a comprehensive Contracts Database.
• Handle the management of procurement systems, focusing on supplier understanding and spend categorisation.
• Stay updated on procurement-related legislation and best practices.
• Provide expert procurement advice to internal stakeholders.
